Interview with Canadian player Josh
Luso 07/10/2013- Portugal
1.How do you feel about your experiences here in Portugal so far?
My experiences here in Portugal have been excellent. The food is fantastic, the cities are beautiful and the weather has been bright. No complains whatsoever!
2.What do you think about the training here in Europe?
The training here is definitely much tougher than the training in Canada. The players hit harder, think faster and move the ball very well. It’s fantastic to watch and even better to be a part of.
3.Do you feel that you have improved since you have arrived?
I definitely think that I have improved since I came here. I find myself playing and thinking faster and I feel that my ability to make quick decisions has increased. I´ve also become more versatile as I have been put into different positions during scrimmages and matches.
4. What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to go as far as I possibly can in football. I hope that I can improve enough to get to the premier leagues of Europe.
5.What do you have to say about Brazuca Soccer?
I think Brazuca soccer gives players and excellent opportunity to travel abroad to get a taste of football from some of the best football nations and to learn from each nation´s style of play.
6.Do you have anything to say to your friends who want come and play in Europe?
I would say that if they ever got the opportunity to come and play here, they must take advantage of it because if they don’t, they will absolutely regret it years down the road.
7.Did the training with Ginga soccer in Canada help you to be better prepared to play in Europe?
The training with Ginga soccer definitely helped me to be better prepared to play in Europe. Perseverance, hard work and your best was always expected of you. The minute you stepped foot onto the field, all attention was on the drills. This is exactly the way professional football is in Europe. Therefore, Ginga definitely prepared me for this experience.
